Hot in Tucson: Selling your home in Tucson, AZ in the summer

REALTOR TIPS:

Selling home in Tucson in July is not the easiest job! You've got to brave the heat and work quickly outside when showing...or risk your buyers jumping into the pool at the house you're showing!

A few tips for your sellers:

-Be sure to have them sweep away any "critters" before showings. Prepping the inside and outside is important for a nice first impression. Having buyers walk up to a home to see geckos and other undesirable scurry away is not cool.

-Have your car stocked with COLD water. Don't give your potential buyers a bottle of warm water that has been sitting in your car. Carry a cooler with ice packs and keep it stocked!

-Have your sellers put out bottles of cold water (packed in a bowl with ice is nice). This is especially appreciated along with any other goodies they put out.

-If your house is vacant, be sure to get there before buyers and sweep away cobwebs, critters and dust. It is especially dusty here in AZ and clearing it away is a big help to making a nice showing!
